The music of singer/songwriter Trina Brunk is alternately inspiring, vulnerable, subtle, soaring, stirring, enlivening.

Her songwriting is inspired by her love for Nature and her personal healing journey.  

She grew up singing with her seven sisters in rural Missouri, and began writing songs in 2008. She released her 15th album this year. 

Nurturing a sense of connection with her in-person Northfield community as well as her online community, she offers in-person music meditations and virtual “music medicine” live streams, music tracks and guided meditations on Insight Timer.​

Trina’s music has been described by fans as inspirational, and in the words of one fan, “It’s not just music, it’s magic. It pushes me to be more, to live more, to love more, to feel more, to reach higher.”  

Trina writes songs that speak to the challenges as well as the ecstatic states that are part of being a spiritual being having a human experience. 

Now living in Northfield, Minnesota with her family, Trina grew up singing with her seven sisters in rural Missouri. She began writing songs in 2008 and began performing across the nation in 2010. 

From her home recording studio Trina self-produced her debut album “Breathe In The World” in 2008, followed by “Wholeness Meditation” and “Born to Live In These Times” in 2009 and “Safe Passage”, “The Giving Prayer” and “Christmas Lullabyes” in 2011.  In 2012 her collaboration Running Free with film composer Charlie Armour was nominated for an Indie Music Channel Best Female Soundtrack award.

She took a break from public performance in 2013 after releasing Songs of the Beloved, her eighth self-produced album, and began facilitating toning circles and music meditation groups.  Between 2016 and 2020 Trina released 5 subsequent solo albums: Songs for the Path Home, Sky, The Circle,  and Together We Rise. 

From 2018 through 2020, Trina collaborated with songwriter sisters Elizabeth McManus and Ani McManus on their albums, respectively, “May You Be Blessed” and “This Sweet Day".  

In 2020 she began sharing her music and offering live streams as a teacher on the meditation app Insight Timer, and from her interactions with her audience on that platform, the 2022  album Serenity was born. 

In 2024 Trina is releasing her newest album, Firefly Songs. This collection of songs celebrates our connection with all of Life. When times are dark, this music inspires us to look for the light within and all around.
